Might Be Time For Another Big Pile o Pix

The pix pile up. So easy when film is thousands of shots per roll, and the price of same film is so low. I have no idea what to do with the visual record I make of so much. Edit and stick a few of 'em here, I guess.

Sunday isn't bad for getting around and through Indrio Road construction. Then onto Johnston Road to Angle Road and Fort Pierce.

I'm interested in how Lumix film works when making photos taken into bright light. Recent experiments with hazy sun have been promising, possibly even visually interesting.

City, county, and state are easing out of having working drinking fountains in parks. A disappointment. Water is still available from a tap somewhere. Unless the restrooms have been vandalized, and then nothing works. Other times it's no more chilled water. Or, in the case near Wabasso, the chilled unit is gone, and water from the fountain is only a useless dribble.

Non-working in Pepper Park, St Lucie County.

A sign about great parks replaces the drinking fountains in a state park.

According to a newspaper account, a survey crew got it wrong. The road is in the wrong place, and it's being removed and replaced. This benefits one gated community while taking a chunk out of another. - On the Jungle Trail. A mesh keeps hard-pack sand anchored for traffic.

Ravioli In Squid Sauce (Recipe)

Two cans of squid in ink. Two or three tablespoons of Italian dressing. Clove of garlic, bit of minced onion. And splash of red wine and a dash of olive oil. Make it up as you go along. Simmer for best results. Spoon over ravioli.

Hot, Hazy, And Then Storms

Florida summer issue: gets icky out there. Yesterday ride out 8th to the interstate, then north past Sexton's ranch. Hazy, hot, then hot & hazy. And then sun beating down until afternoon storms (storms not shown here).

That and a few pics of this and that from last week or so.
